Remote Locum PMHNP (Pediatrics/Adolescents) — $120/hr, Flexible Hours, Fully Remote 1099

We are hiring a compassionate, experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for a fully remote locum tenens (1099) role delivering evidence-based psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and young adults in a collaborative virtual setting. Engagement details

• Contract: 1099 locum tenens
• Minimum: 10 hours per week
• Peak-hour availability preferred: weekdays after 3:00 PM ET and/or flexible weekend hours

Core responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow-up assessments via telehealth
• Diagnose and treat mental health conditions in pediatric and young adult populations (ages 2+)
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications; monitor response and side effects
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans and provide patient/family education
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EHR
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure continuity and quality of care

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited program
• Board Certified PMHNP (PMHNP-BC)
• Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania APRN/CRNP/PMHNP license
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority
• Minimum 2 years of independent psychiatric practice post-licensure
• Demonstrated experience with pediatric populations (age 2+)
• Proficiency with telehealth platforms, EHR systems, and digital clinical tools
• Reliable computer, phone, and high-speed internet connection

• Rate: $120/hour (1099)
