Travel RN Med Surg/ED Nights (Meeker, CO) 36-hr Contract

Join a tight‑knit team in Meeker, CO, as a night shift Registered Nurse on a contract/travel assignment. This role starts ASAP and offers a 36‑hour schedule with a weekly rate of $2,052. You’ll be working primarily in Med‑Surg and Emergency Department settings, supporting a variety of patient needs in a fast‑paced environment.

What we’re looking for

• Active, unrestricted RN license in the state where you’ll practice.
• At least one year of Med‑Surg and/or ED experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, triage, and critical‑thinking skills with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Comfort working in a high‑acuity, fast‑moving setting.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and accurate clinical documentation.
• BLS required; facility may also require ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

What you’ll do

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, monitor changes, and document care precisely.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, treatments, and provide post‑op and wound care.
• Triage patients, respond to emergencies, and assist with rapid assessments and interventions.
• Support trauma, cardiac, and critical patients following established emergency protocols.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Maintain infection control standards, operate essential clinical equipment, and promote a safe care environment.
