Join a fast-paced contract opportunity in Stockton, CA as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. This 14-week assignment begins ASAP with a consistent 08:00 AM–4:30 PM shift daily (Sun–Sat). Compensation: Travel rate $1,579/35 hrs; Local rate $1,558/35 hrs.

Requirements

• Valid, active Occupational Therapy Assistant state license.

Core Responsibilities

• Support the Occupational Therapist in patient evaluations to identify physical and functional limitations.
• Collaborate on and implement individualized treatment plans to improve motor skills, mobility, and activities of daily living.
• Teach patients safe and effective use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment.
• Document treatment plans, progress, and changes in condition accurately and timely.
• Provide patients and families with education and home-exercise instruction to support recovery.
• Communicate regularly with the OT and interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.
• Follow safety and infection-control policies to maintain a therapeutic, secure environment.
• Offer emotional support and motivation to help patients meet therapy goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Schedule: 14 weeks, daily 08:00 AM–04:30 PM (Sun–Sat). Start date: ASAP.
