Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (C-OTA) — 14-Week Contract, Santa Clara, CA

We’re seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join a team in Santa Clara, CA on a 14-week contract. This role starts ASAP and follows a consistent schedule: Sunday through Saturday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Open to travel or local applicants.

Compensation:

• Travel rate: $1,548 per 36 hours
• Local rate: $1,526 per 36 hours

Must-have:

• Valid, active Occupational Therapy Assistant state license

What you’ll do:

• Support the Occupational Therapist in evaluating patients to understand their physical and functional needs.
• Help create individualized treatment plans and carry out therapy sessions that improve motor skills, mobility, and independence with daily activities.
• Teach patients how to use assistive devices and adaptive equipment so they can be more functional at home and in the community.
• Track and document patient progress, treatments, and any changes in condition clearly and promptly.
• Provide patients and families with guidance, training, and home exercise programs to support ongoing recovery.
• Communicate regularly with the OT and the broader healthcare team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Follow safety and infection-control procedures to maintain a safe therapy environment.
• Offer encouragement and emotional support as patients work toward their goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
