Contract Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (C-OTA) — Hayward, CA

Join a 15-week contract in Hayward, CA (start ASAP) as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. This position is available as Travel or Local. Schedule: Sun–Sat, 08:00 AM–04:30 PM. Compensation: Travel $1,505/35 hrs; Local $1,484/35 hrs.

Requirements:

• Active, valid Occupational Therapy Assistant state license.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the Occupational Therapist in evaluating patients’ physical and functional limitations.
• Contribute to development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions and activities to improve motor skills, mobility, and independence in daily living.
• Instruct patients in safe use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, treatments, progress, and changes in condition.
• Provide patient and family education, including home exercise programs and strategies to support recovery.
• Communicate and coordinate with the OT and interdisciplinary team to ensure cohesive care.
• Follow safety and infection-control policies to maintain a safe therapy environment.
• Provide emotional support and motivation to help patients meet therapeutic goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
