Required qualifications:
- Valid, active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) state license
- BLS certification
Core responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care under RN or physician direction
- Conduct patient assessments and administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Monitor, document, and report vital signs and changes in patient condition
- Perform wound care: evaluate, clean, dress, and monitor for infection/complications
- Maintain accurate patient records and provide patient/family education on conditions and self-care
- Follow infection control policies and respond promptly in medical emergencies
