Key responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care under RN or physician direction
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
- Evaluate, clean, dress, and manage wounds; monitor for infection and complications
- Continuously monitor and record vital signs
- Maintain detailed patient records and communicate care plans
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and follow infection control protocols
