Core responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care under RN or physician supervision
- Conduct patient assessments; implement and document prescribed treatments and medications
- Monitor, record, and report vital signs continuously
- Assess, clean, dress, and manage wounds; monitor for infection/complications
- Maintain accurate patient records and provide patient/family education on conditions and self-care
- Respond promptly in medical emergencies and follow infection control policies
Licensure and compliance
- Maintain current licensure and certifications; follow facility policies and applicable regulations
