Role overview
Provide occupational therapy services in an outpatient setting (preferred) and across appropriate care areas. Deliver assessments, treatment planning, intervention, documentation, and patient/family education. Teach and demonstrate treatment routines to professional and non‑professional staff as required.

Required credentials and qualifications

• NBCOT certification (Occupational Therapy) — REQUIRED
• OTR credential — REQUIRED
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field — REQUIRED
• BLS (Basic Life Support) — highly preferred; obtain within 1 month of hire or transfer
• Successful completion of MyMichigan Health and affiliate orientation and new hire competency
• OSHA training per the Exposure Control Plan (annual)
• Ability to work where exposure to communicable diseases may occur and to use PPE correctly
• English-language proficiency for effective verbal and written communication
• Ability to work independently; strong problem-solving, organization, time management, and initiative
• Ability to perform essential job functions with reasonable accommodation

Preferred

• >1 year clinical experience or new graduate considered
• Outpatient experience
• AOTA membership

Compensation and benefits

• $14,000 sign-on bonus with a 2-year commitment
