Location: Concord, NH | Start: ASAP | Duration: 14 weeks | Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM | Type: Contract/Non-Travel | Local Rate: $1,274/36 hours

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide skilled, compassionate bedside care in a fast-paced clinical setting. The LPN will deliver direct nursing services under RN or physician direction, contribute to care planning, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Active, valid LPN license for the state of New Hampshire
  • Current BLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration, wound care, IV therapy, catheter care, and routine assessments
  • Conduct focused patient assessments (vitals, physical exams, medical history, medication review) and assist in developing individualized care plans
  • Accurately administer prescribed medications and treatments, monitor responses, and document findings
  • Perform wound management, monitor for infection or complications, and change dressings per protocol
  • Insert, maintain, and monitor IV lines and urinary catheters; collect specimens (blood, urine, sputum) for testing
  • Continuously monitor and record vital signs and changes in patient condition; maintain thorough, accurate documentation
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, discharge instructions, and self-care to promote wellness
  • Respond to emergencies, provide basic life support as needed, and follow established protocols
  • Adhere to infection control, medication handling, and safety policies; ensure proper use of PPE
  • Collaborate with RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate care; may supervise CNAs or UAPs when assigned
  • Promote preventive care and advocate for patient rights and needs
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and complete other duties as assigned by Management

This role requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
