Contract Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — Orono, ME (9-Week, Jul 13 Start)

We’re looking for a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join a contract (non-travel) role in Orono, ME. This assignment starts July 13, 2026 and runs for 9 weeks. You’ll work a long day shift (6:30 AM – 6:45 PM) and the local rate is $950 for 36 hours.

What you’ll need

• An active, valid LPN license for the state.
• Current BLS certification.

What you’ll do

• Provide hands-on nursing care under the direction of RNs or physicians, delivering compassionate support to patients.
• Conduct thorough assessments and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Manage wound care: evaluate, clean, dress, and monitor for infection or complications.
• Regularly monitor and document vital signs and changes in patient status.
• Keep accurate, detailed patient records and educate patients and families on conditions and self-care practices.
• Act quickly and calmly in medical emergencies and consistently follow infection-control protocols.
