Locums Tele-Neurology Physician — Remote Stroke & Inpatient Neurology (Flexible Shifts, Multi-State)

We are seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurology physicians for a fully remote locum tele-neurology role supporting hospitals and emergency departments across multiple states. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling and ongoing need—ideal for physicians seeking supplemental work or a long-term telemedicine practice. Physicians will deliver real-time neurologic consultation for acute and inpatient cases, including stroke alerts, using a secure enterprise telemedicine platform with full clinical and technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide remote neurologic consultation to emergency department and inpatient care teams
• Evaluate acute stroke presentations and advise on thrombolytic and endovascular treatment decisions
• Review imaging and clinical data in real time and collaborate with on-site clinicians on treatment plans
• Document encounters thoroughly in the electronic medical record

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Board-Certified or Board-Eligible status in Neurology
• Stroke experience preferred; vascular neurology fellowship a plus
• Active U.S. medical license required; multi-state licensure strongly preferred (licensing support available)
• Candidates with licenses in hand for FL, NY, MA, TX, AR, AL, IA, AZ, or CA are preferred
• Comfortable managing acute neurologic cases remotely and making time-sensitive clinical decisions
