Remote Locums Tele-Neurologist (Stroke/Acute Care) — Fully Remote, Flexible Shifts

Join a growing tele-neurology team providing real-time neurologic consultation to hospitals and emergency departments across multiple states. This fully remote locum opportunity offers flexible scheduling, ongoing demand, and options for supplemental or long-term telemedicine practice. Physicians will evaluate acute and inpatient neurologic cases—including stroke alerts—via a secure, enterprise telemedicine platform with full clinical and technical support.

Core responsibilities

• Provide remote neurologic consultation to emergency department and inpatient teams
• Evaluate acute stroke patients and advise on thrombolytic or endovascular interventions
• Review imaging and clinical data in real time
• Collaborate with on-site clinicians to develop and implement treatment plans
• Complete timely documentation in the electronic medical record

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Neurology board certification or eligibility
• Stroke experience preferred; vascular neurology fellowship a plus
• Active U.S. medical license required; multi-state licensure strongly preferred (licensing support available)
• Licenses in hand preferred for FL, NY, MA, TX, AR, AL, IA, AZ, CA
• Comfort managing acute neurologic cases remotely
