Locums Tele-Neurology Physician — Remote (Stroke/Acute Neuro Consults)

Location: Edgartown, Massachusetts (fully remote tele-neurology; supports hospitals/EDs across multiple states)

Overview:
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible neurologists needed for a locum tele-neurology role providing real-time neurologic consultation for acute and inpatient cases, including stroke alerts. Work via a secure enterprise telemedicine platform with full clinical and technical support. Flexible scheduling for supplemental or long-term practice.

Compensation and terms:

• Rate: $210,000–$220,000 annually
• Locum engagement; long-term assignments available
• Flexible full-time and part-time schedules
• Shifts: day, evening, overnight, weekends
• Malpractice coverage provided
• Credentialing and licensing support; additional state licenses paid as needed

Key responsibilities:

• Provide remote neurologic consultation to emergency department and inpatient teams
• Evaluate acute stroke patients and advise on thrombolytic or endovascular treatment
• Review imaging and clinical data in real time
• Collaborate with on-site clinicians to develop treatment plans
• Document all encounters in the electronic medical record

Minimum qualifications:

• MD or DO
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neurology
• Comfortable managing acute neurologic cases remotely

Preferred qualifications:

• Stroke or vascular neurology experience

Licensure:

• Active U.S. medical license required
• Multi-state licensure strongly preferred; licensing support provided
• Preferred states (licenses in hand preferred): FL, NY, MA, TX, AR, AL, IA, AZ, CA
