Locums Tele-Neurology Physician — Remote Stroke & Inpatient Consults (Flexible Locum Tenens)

Join a fully remote locum tele-neurology practice supporting hospitals and emergency departments across multiple states. This flexible opportunity—ideal for supplemental work or a long-term telemedicine practice—offers real-time neurologic consultation for acute and inpatient cases, including stroke alerts, via a secure enterprise telemedicine platform with full clinical and technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide remote neurologic consultation to emergency department and inpatient teams
• Evaluate acute stroke cases and advise on thrombolytic and endovascular decisions
• Review imaging and clinical data in real time
• Collaborate with on-site clinicians to develop and implement treatment plans
• Document encounters thoroughly and promptly in the EMR

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neurology
• Stroke experience preferred; vascular neurology expertise a plus
• Active U.S. medical license required; multi-state licensure strongly preferred (licensing support available)
• Preferred licenses: FL, NY, MA, TX, AR, AL, IA, AZ, CA
• Comfortable managing acute neurologic cases remotely
