Travel Pre/Post-Op RN — 13-Week Chico Contract, Rotating Shift, EPIC & BLS Required

We’re looking for an experienced RN to join a surgical team in Chico, CA, working in the pre- and post-operative areas on a contract/travel assignment. This is a 13-week engagement starting July 9, 2026, with rotating shifts. Compensation is $3,040 weekly for a 40-hour schedule.

What you’ll be doing:

• Providing nursing care for patients before and after surgery, ensuring safe handoffs and clear communication with the surgical team.
• Performing pre-op assessments, patient education, and preparation for procedures.
• Managing post-op recovery, monitoring vitals, pain control, and discharge instructions.
• Documenting care and orders in EPIC and collaborating with multidisciplinary staff.

What we’re looking for:

• Current California RN license (California Board of Registered Nursing).
• At least 2 years of clinical RN experience, preferably in perioperative or surgical nursing.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Hands-on EPIC EMR experience.
