Fellowship-Trained Locums Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon — Glendale, AZ

Location: Glendale, AZ — Level II Trauma Center

Organization: Physician-led group that staffs hospital-based orthopedic trauma teams nationwide. Emphasis on predictable scheduling, clinical support, and enabling surgeons to focus on patient care.

Scope: Operative and non-operative orthopedic trauma care in a collaborative team environment with trauma surgery, emergency medicine, hospitalists, and rehabilitation.

Schedule

• 183 24-hour shifts annually
• Blocked scheduling with 7-day stretches
• Built-in recovery time between rotations

Key Responsibilities

• Provide operative and non-operative management of orthopedic trauma patients
• Participate in trauma call coverage
• Manage a broad range of fractures and orthopedic injuries
• Coordinate care with trauma surgery, ED, hospitalists, and rehab teams
• Balance operative cases, inpatient care, and follow-up clinic
• Complete timely and accurate documentation

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
• Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship preferred
• Hospital-based orthopedic trauma experience
• Eligible for Arizona medical license
• Ability to obtain and maintain hospital privileges
