Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Director/Attending Physician to provide high-quality care across skilled nursing facilities in Ovid, Michigan. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, a collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to influence the care of post-acute and long-term patients. You will work alongside experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, providing clinical leadership, oversight, and patient-centered care within assigned facilities.

Facility opportunities in Michigan: Bad Axe, East Jordan, Grayling, Holland, Houghton Lake, Manistique, Mount Pleasant, St. Joseph, and Temperance.

Additional opportunities nationwide: Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.

Position highlights

  • Part-time schedule covering local skilled nursing facilities (typically 1–2 days per facility per week)
  • No fixed daily start/end times, no call, and no overnight shifts
  • Average 18–25 visits per day
  • Flexible scheduling to support work–life balance
  • Company-provided iPad with LTE for efficient documentation

Requirements

  • MD or DO with unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
  • Strong communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
