Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant — Skilled Nursing & Long-Term Care (Escanaba, MI)

Provide patient-centered primary and acute care to residents in skilled nursing and post-acute facilities throughout Escanaba, MI, as part of a collaborative, team-based practice focused on older adults.

• Escanaba, MI (primary)
• Additional Michigan: Carson City, Charlevoix, Crystal Falls, East Lansing, Iron River, Mt. Pleasant, South Haven
• Additional states: IL, NH, NC, OH, WI

Schedule and Responsibilities

• Full-time positions with flexible scheduling
• Typical shifts: six-hour facility rounds (start between 7:00–10:00 a.m.)
• No call or overnight responsibilities
• Perform daily rounds, evaluate/manage acute and chronic conditions, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications
• Efficient documentation using company EHR with AI Scribe and voice dictation on company-provided iPad (LTE)
• Access to UpToDate® for point-of-care guidance

Minimum Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
• National certification (e.g., ANCC, AANPCB, PNCB, AACN, NCCPA)
• Skilled nursing, long-term care, geriatrics, or post-acute care experience preferred
