Part-Time Medical Director/Attending Physician – Flexible Schedule, No Nights/Call, Paris IL

Join a team that delivers compassionate, patient-centered care to residents of skilled nursing facilities in Paris, IL. In this part-time role you’ll serve as the attending physician and medical director for local post-acute and long-term care sites, working closely with experienced nurse practitioners and physician assistants. You’ll provide clinical oversight, make key decisions for complex patients, and help shape high-quality care in a collaborative, supportive environment.

• Part-time schedule with excellent flexibility — physicians typically cover each facility 1–2 days per week
• No fixed daily start or end times, no call responsibilities, and no overnight shifts
• A manageable patient load (about 18–25 visits per day)

Qualifications:

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
• Strong communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills
