Part-Time Medical Director / Attending Physician – Hospitalist (Marshall, IL)

Provide medical direction and attend to patients at local skilled nursing facilities in Marshall, IL. Partner with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to deliver patient-centered care, provide clinical oversight, and support facility-based teams.

Key responsibilities

• Admit, evaluate, and manage post-acute and long-term care patients.
• Oversee clinical care plans and coordinate with NPs/PAs, nursing staff, and facility leadership.
• Perform 18–25 patient visits per day.
• Maintain documentation and participate in quality improvement activities.

Schedule

• Part-time, flexible schedule; physicians typically cover each facility 1–2 days per week.
• No fixed daily start/end times, no call, no overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine.
• Strong communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills.
