Medical Director / Hospitalist - Flexible Schedule, No Nights/Call, SNF Leadership (Parsons, KS)

Join a collaborative team providing high-quality care to post-acute and long-term care patients at skilled nursing facilities in Parsons, Kansas. This full-time Medical Director/Attending Physician role combines clinical practice with leadership and oversight, working alongside experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to deliver patient-centered care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and attendingship across assigned skilled nursing facilities
• Collaborate with NPs and PAs to manage patient care plans and transitions
• Conduct rounds and visits, documenting care efficiently using company-provided technology
• Ensure quality, regulatory compliance, and effective communication with facility staff and families

Schedule and workload

• Full-time with flexible scheduling to support work-life balance
• Typical coverage: each facility 1-2 days per week
• No fixed start/end times, no overnight shifts, and no on-call responsibilities
• Average 18-25 visits per day
• Company-provided iPad with LTE for documentation

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
• Strong clinical decision-making, leadership, and communication skills
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
