Part-Time Medical Director / Hospitalist - Flexible Schedule, No Nights/Call, Strong Compensation

This part-time Medical Director/Attending Physician role offers flexible scheduling, clinical leadership, and partnership with experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to deliver patient-centered care and oversight within assigned facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide primary medical oversight and direct patient care in local skilled nursing facilities
• Collaborate with NPs, PAs, nursing staff, and facility leadership to develop and implement care plans
• Serve as clinical leader for assigned facilities, ensuring regulatory compliance and quality outcomes
• Complete timely documentation and participate in performance improvement initiatives

Schedule and practice highlights

• Part-time, community-based role: typically 1-2 days per week at each facility
• No fixed start/end times, no overnight shifts, and no on-call responsibilities
• Average 18-25 visits per day

Qualifications

• MD or DO with active, unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
