Job Description
Community Health Center in Benson, AZ seeks a Locums Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to provide outpatient adult primary care.
Location
- Benson, Arizona (southeastern AZ; access to Kartchner Caverns and San Pedro Riparian Area)
Position details
- Practice setting: Community Health Center / Outpatient adult medicine
- Schedule: PRN, part-time, or full-time
- Shifts: Half-day or full-day options
- Patient volume: ~3-4 patients per hour
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient care for adult patients
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Deliver preventive care, screenings, and patient education
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active, unrestricted Arizona medical license
- DEA registration
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
