Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Skilled Nursing Facilities (Ovid, MI)

Join a team providing patient-centered care to residents in skilled nursing facilities across Ovid, Michigan. We seek experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to deliver high-quality care in a collaborative, team-based setting.

Primary responsibilities

• Perform daily rounds at assigned facilities (typically 6-hour shifts; rounds start between 7:00-10:00 AM)
• Evaluate and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
• Coordinate with facility staff, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Document efficiently using the company EHR with AI scribe, voice dictation, and company-provided iPad with LTE
• Use UpToDate® and other clinical resources for point-of-care guidance

Schedule and work environment

• Full-time positions with flexible scheduling
• Six-hour facility shifts for full-time providers
• No call and no overnight responsibilities

Minimum requirements

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license
• Relevant board certification (ANCC, AANPCB, PNCB, AACN, NCCPA)
• Skilled nursing, long-term care, geriatrics, or post-acute care experience preferred
