Board-certified or board-eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician needed for a rural outpatient primary care practice in Colebrook, New Hampshire.
Overview
- Outpatient primary care in an underserved, close-knit community
- Opportunity to manage a defined patient panel with clinical autonomy
- No weekend or holiday shifts; supportive, collaborative team
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care: history, exams, diagnosis, treatment
- Manage acute and chronic conditions and develop individualized care plans
- Deliver preventive care, wellness visits, immunizations, and screenings
- Order, review, and communicate diagnostic testing results
- Prescribe and manage medications and treatment plans
- Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists and allied health staff
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, lifestyle, and nutrition
- Maintain accurate medical records and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- MD or DO; completion of an accredited residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Current BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association)
- Comfortable managing an independent patient panel in a rural setting
Compensation & benefits
- Competitive base salary with potential wRVU productivity and quality bonuses
