Hospitalist NP/PA - Skilled Nursing Care in Mt. Pleasant, MI | Flexible 6-hr Shifts, No Call

Join a growing team delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to residents of skilled nursing facilities throughout Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. We seek compassionate Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants dedicated to improving the health and quality of life of older adults within a collaborative, team-based practice.

Role and responsibilities:

• Perform daily rounds across skilled nursing facilities, managing acute and chronic conditions and developing/prescribing treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and facility staff.
• Document efficiently using a streamlined EHR supported by AI Scribe and voice dictation.
• Use evidence-based resources (UpToDate®) to guide clinical decision-making.

Schedule and work environment:

• Full-time positions with flexible scheduling.
• Typical six-hour facility shifts; rounds usually begin between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
• No overnight shifts or on-call responsibilities.

Technology and support:

• Company-provided iPad with LTE and lab coat.
• Access to AI scribe, voice dictation, and UpToDate® for real-time clinical guidance.

Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
• Board certification (ANCC, AANPCB, PNCB, AACN, NCCPA, or equivalent).
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, geriatrics, or post-acute care preferred.
