Part-Time Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Skilled Nursing (Bad Axe, MI)

This part-time role offers flexible scheduling with no overnight or on-call responsibilities, collaborative work with physicians and facility staff, and the chance to provide high-quality, evidence-based care.

Position highlights

• Part-time, flexible scheduling: six-hour facility shifts with rounds typically starting between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
• No call or overnight shifts
• Average 15-20 patient visits per day
• Daily rounds, management of acute and chronic conditions, medication prescribing, and development of individualized treatment plans
• Close collaboration with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams
• Responsibility for clinical and regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted U.S. Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
• NP board certification (ANCC, AANPCB, PNCB, or AACN) or PA certification (NCCPA)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in FM, IM, Geriatrics, PM&R, or ED
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-care skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
