Fellowship-Trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon - Level II Trauma, Blocked Schedule & Strong Support in Goodyear, AZ

Join a physician-led team in Goodyear, Arizona, dedicated to building high-performing surgical programs and supporting surgeons so they can focus on excellent patient care. You’ll work in a hospital-based setting that emphasizes predictable schedules, strong clinical support, and collaborative teamwork.

This role supports a Level II trauma center and pairs you with an experienced orthopedic trauma group. Expect a balanced mix of operative and non-operative trauma cases, close collaboration with trauma surgery, emergency medicine, hospitalists, and rehab teams, and an environment committed to quality outcomes and patient-centered care.

Schedule

• 183 annual 24-hour shifts, organized in blocked 7-day stretches with built-in recovery time between rotations to promote work-life balance.

What you’ll do

• Provide operative and non-operative management of orthopedic trauma patients
• Participate in trauma call coverage and manage a broad range of fractures and orthopedic injuries
• Balance surgical cases, inpatient care, and follow-up clinic responsibilities
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Maintain timely documentation and high standards of clinical quality

Who we’re looking for

• Board-eligible or board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery
• Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship completion preferred
• Hospital-based trauma experience preferred
• Eligible for Arizona medical licensure and able to obtain hospital privileges
