Fellowship-Trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon - Level 1 Trauma Center (Phoenix, AZ)

A not-for-profit multispecialty practice of over 650 providers seeks a full-time, fellowship-trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join the Department of Orthopedics. The department provides care at an ACS-verified, state-designated Level 1 Trauma Center in the metropolitan Phoenix area.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 orthopedic trauma coverage (inpatient and operative care).
• Manage outpatient clinic and follow-up for trauma patients.
• Develop an elective practice as desired.
• Collaborate with orthopedic physician assistants and multidisciplinary teams.
• Supervise and teach residents and medical students.

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree.
• Fellowship-trained in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Ability to obtain and hold an Arizona medical license.
• Prior Level 1 trauma experience preferred.
• Additional fellowship training is a plus.
