Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Skilled Nursing, Traverse City MI

Join a growing clinical team delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to residents of skilled nursing facilities across Traverse City, Michigan. We are looking for compassionate Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants who are dedicated to improving the health and quality of life of older adults within a collaborative, team-based setting.

What you’ll do

• Provide daily rounds and ongoing management of acute and chronic conditions in skilled nursing and post-acute care settings.
• Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Work efficient six-hour shifts for full-time clinicians (rounds typically begin between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.).
• Use a streamlined EHR with AI scribe, voice dictation, a company-provided iPad with LTE, and access to UpToDate® for point-of-care guidance.
• No overnight or on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
• Board certification (ANCC, AANPCB, PNCB, AACN, or NCCPA).
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, geriatrics, or post-acute care preferred.
