Nocturnist Academic Hospitalist Physician - Harvard-Affiliated (Boston, MA)

Join a Harvard-affiliated academic health system in Boston as a full-time nocturnist physician. New graduates finishing Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency in 2027 are encouraged to apply - prior hospitalist experience is not required.

Clinical load and schedule

• Average of 12 shifts per month
• Approximately 4-5 admissions per shift
• Cross-coverage responsibility for roughly 30-40 patients
• Weekday nights: 6:45 PM - 7:00 AM
• Weekend nights: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
• One daytime weekend shift per schedule cycle: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure
• 2027 residency graduates strongly encouraged to apply
