Family or Internal Medicine Physician - Outpatient Value-Based Clinic, Irving TX

Join a 100% outpatient, value-based care clinic in Irving, TX providing continuity- and prevention-focused primary care to adults (18+). Physicians manage acute and chronic conditions, coordinate care with specialists, and work within an interdisciplinary team.

Scope and setting

• Outpatient clinic, value-based care model
• Adult patient panel (18+)
• Monday-Friday schedule; some clinics offer extended hours
• Supported by a Medical Assistant and clinic staff
• Report to clinical leadership

Compensation and benefits

• Guaranteed base salary: $240,000
• Up to 20% annual performance bonus
• $1,250/month per supervised Nurse Practitioner
• CME allowance and paid CME hours
• 401(k) with company match

Key responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care
• Perform comprehensive history and risk assessments
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostics, prescribe medications, and create individualized care plans
• Deliver preventive care and patient education
• Refer to and coordinate with specialists as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure timely follow-up and communication
• Supervise Nurse Practitioners when applicable (monthly stipend provided)
• Maintain punctuality to keep patient appointments on schedule

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (ABFM) or Internal Medicine (ABIM)
• Board Eligible candidates must be within 5 years of residency completion
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience in primary care or urgent care; supervisory experience preferred
• Active Texas medical license and DEA license in good standing
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
