Job Description
A not-for-profit multispecialty practice group of 650+ providers is seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join the Department of Orthopedics in the metropolitan Phoenix area. The department covers a state-designated Level 1 Trauma Center and an ACS-verified facility.
Location
- Phoenix, Arizona (metropolitan area)
Practice setting
- Community-based hospital within a large multispecialty group
- Level 1 Trauma Center; ACS-verified
- Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
- Teaching environment with medical students and residents
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 orthopedic trauma care
- Manage inpatient trauma patients and run outpatient clinic
- Opportunity to develop an elective practice
- Collaborate with orthopedic physician assistants
- Supervise and teach residents and medical students
Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Fellowship-trained in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Ability to obtain and hold an Arizona medical license
- Previous Level 1 trauma experience preferred
- Additional fellowship training a plus
