Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room (OR) Herrin, IL (Contract)

Ready to join a surgical team in Herrin, IL? We’re looking for a Registered Nurse to step into a contract/travel role in the Operating Room on days, starting ASAP. This 40-hour assignment pays $2,564 per week.

What you’ll bring:

• An active RN license for practice in-state.
• Perioperative/OR experience is preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, organization, and clear communication skills.
• BLS required; CNOR or other specialty certifications are a plus.

What you’ll do:

• Get patients, instruments, and the OR set up and ready for surgery.
• Serve as a circulating nurse or scrub tech during procedures, supporting the surgical team.
• Monitor patient status, give medications as needed, and maintain strict sterile technique.
• Accurately document surgical care and follow established protocols.
• Teach patients and families about pre- and post-operative care to support recovery.
