Travel RN Emergency Room (Nights) | Herrin, IL | Contract (36-hr)

We’re looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join a busy emergency department in Herrin, IL on a contract/travel basis. This is a night-shift assignment starting ASAP, offering $2,182 for a 36-hour week.

What you’ll be doing

• Quickly triage and assess patients as they arrive, prioritizing care based on acuity.
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as needed.
• Continuously monitor patient status and promptly communicate changes to physicians and the care team.
• Keep accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient records.
• Provide patient and family education about treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Contribute to quality improvement and safety initiatives within the ER.

What we’re looking for

• Active RN license for the practicing state.
• ER experience or a strong acute-care background preferred.
• Solid clinical judgment, strong critical-thinking ability, and excellent communication skills.
• BLS required; ACLS, PALS, or TNCC certifications are a plus.
