Join a surgical team in Herrin, IL as a contract Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. This day-shift assignment starts ASAP and pays $2,564 per 40-hour week.

Key requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• Perioperative/OR nursing experience preferred
• BLS required; CNOR or other specialty certifications preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational ability, and communication skills

Core responsibilities:

• Prepare patients, instruments, and the OR for scheduled procedures
• Serve as circulating nurse or scrub, assisting the surgical team throughout cases
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and maintain sterile technique
• Accurately document surgical care and adhere to facility protocols
• Provide patient and family education on pre- and post-operative care
