Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — 20-Week Contract, Newport VT (Sun/Fri/Sat)

Hours: 36 hours/week

Pay:

• Local PPW: $1,116 / 36 hours ($31/hour)
• Travel PPW: $1,152 / 36 hours ($32/hour)

Required:

• Valid, active LPN state license
• BLS certification
• Registry personnel must bring state or federal photo ID to the facility and wear a photo badge at all times
• Agency staff must have completed the original or updated COVID-19 vaccine or present documented religious/medical exemption from their employer; additional doses required where mandated by law

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care under RN or physician direction
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Evaluate, clean, dress, and manage wounds; monitor for infection/complications
• Continuously monitor and document vital signs
• Maintain accurate patient records and educate patients/families on conditions and self-care
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and follow infection control protocols
