Registered Nurse (RN) 7-Week Contract, Med/Surg Role in Parkersburg, WV

Shift: 07:00 (36 hours per week)

Compensation:

• Local PPW: $1,260 per 36-hour week (equivalent to $35/hr)
• Travel PPW: $1,260 per 36-hour week (equivalent to $35/hr)

Required qualifications:

• Active, valid Registered Nurse state license
• BLS certification
• Registry personnel must bring state or federal photo ID to the facility and wear a photo badge at all times
• Agency staff must have completed the original or updated COVID-19 vaccination or present a documented religious or medical exemption from their employer; additional doses must be obtained where required by law

Core responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care and interventions
• Administer medications and obtain specimens for testing per orders
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and document findings, interventions, and progress in the medical record
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and assist with procedures as needed
• Prepare and maintain accurate patient records and reports
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and supervise/monitor patient conduct
