Locums-to-Perm Geriatric/Internal Medicine Physician — Outpatient Bronx & Brooklyn, NY

Well-established outpatient practice in New York seeks a locum-to-perm Board-Certified Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric physician to care for a predominantly geriatric population. This is a full-time outpatient role with a predictable weekday schedule and no inpatient responsibilities.

Locations

• Bronx and Brooklyn, NY

Compensation & Schedule

• $150 per hour
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Temp-to-perm (expected conversion within 3–6 months)
• Expedited credentialing available

Clinical Setting & Responsibilities

• Outpatient only; value-based care model
• Primarily geriatric patients, practice expanding to Internal Medicine (18+)
• Typical daily census: 7–10 patients
• No inpatient coverage required
• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative team environment

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics
• Active NY medical license or eligibility
• Medicare and Medicaid Provider IDs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
