Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Beverly, MA (Full/Part-Time)

Full-time urgent care provider position in Beverly, MA with opportunities at additional sites (Swampscott, Methuen, North Andover, Haverhill). Provide high-quality, patient-centered care for a broad range of non-emergent conditions in a fast-paced urgent care setting, collaborating with physicians and clinical staff.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and urgent non-emergent conditions
• Perform procedures common to urgent care (suturing, splinting, laceration repair, wound care, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, etc.)
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, x-rays) and initiate appropriate treatments
• Provide patient education, discharge instructions, and follow-up planning
• Coordinate care and consult with supervising physicians as needed
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and clinical protocols

Schedule

• Centers open seven days/week
• Weekdays: 8:00 AM-8:00 PM; weekends: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Full-time defined as 36 hours/week; part-time options available

Compensation & benefits

• Competitive hourly pay: $75-$85/hour

Requirements

• Active NP or PA license; eligible for Massachusetts licensure if not currently licensed
• Board certification: Family Medicine PA or Adult-Gerontology Primary Care NP
• Urgent care experience preferred
• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications
• Knowledge of universal precautions, HIPAA, and OSHA standards
• Strong interpersonal and team-oriented communication skills
