Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Skilled Nursing, Escanaba MI

Join a growing team providing patient-centered care to residents in skilled nursing facilities across Escanaba, MI. We seek compassionate Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to manage acute and chronic needs of older adults within a collaborative, team-based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily rounds at skilled nursing facilities
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Prescribe medications and implement treatment plans
• Communicate with facility staff, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Document patient encounters using the company EHR (AI Scribe and voice dictation provided)

Work schedule and environment

• Full-time positions with flexible scheduling
• Six-hour facility shifts; rounds typically start between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
• No overnight shifts and no on-call duties

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
• National certification (ANCC, AANPCB, PNCB, AACN, or NCCPA)
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, geriatrics, or post-acute care preferred
