Urology Physician Assistant - Outpatient Practice (Boston, MA)

Location: South of Boston, Massachusetts

Position summary
Full-time outpatient Physician Assistant to join a collaborative urology practice. Provide comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and follow-up care for patients with a broad range of urologic conditions. Work closely with urologists and the clinical team. No required hospital call; optional hospital call shifts available for additional compensation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform history and physical exams, diagnostic evaluations, and procedures appropriate to urology outpatient care
• Develop and implement treatment plans, order and interpret tests, and manage follow-up care
• Coordinate care with urologists, ancillary staff, and outside providers
• Provide patient education and participate in care planning
• Document encounters and maintain accurate medical records
• Participate in quality improvement and practice initiatives as needed

Compensation & benefits

• Salary: $120,000-$130,000 annually (based on experience)

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• NCCPA certification required
• Massachusetts PA license or eligibility for licensure
• DEA registration or eligibility to obtain registration
• Minimum two years PA experience preferred; prior urology experience strongly preferred
• Surgical or specialty outpatient experience considered
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care

Practice model
Primarily outpatient with opportunities for optional hospital call shifts for PAs seeking additional clinical work and compensation.
