Urgent Care NP/PA - Full-Time Back Bay Boston (36 hrs, Benefits, 7-day Clinic)

Join our Back Bay, Boston team as a full-time Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. You will provide direct patient care, support and guide clinical staff, and report to the Center Administrator and Lead Physician. Centers operate seven days a week (Mon-Fri 8:00 AM-8:00 PM; weekends 8:00 AM-5:00 PM). Full- and part-time opportunities available; full-time is a 36-hour work week with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Active NP or PA license in Massachusetts
• Some urgent care experience required
• Current CPR certification
• Working knowledge of universal precautions, HIPAA, and OSHA requirements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; professional, outgoing, team-oriented, adaptable, and able to work independently and multitask

Key responsibilities

• Triage newly registered patients and direct them to appropriate exam rooms
• Prepare and ensure exam rooms are set up for each patient complaint and cleaned between encounters
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as needed
• Provide wound care and perform ECGs when indicated
• Assist physicians with patient care and collaborate with nursing staff on patient callbacks and satisfaction follow-up
• Oversee sterilization of instruments and monitor medical supply inventory with the center administrator
• Support laboratory operations: run controls, participate in proficiency testing, and troubleshoot instruments
• Participate in clinical staff interviews and scheduling to ensure coverage across all hours
• Ensure adherence to medical protocols and regulatory compliance
• Perform other duties as assigned to support smooth center operations
