Primary Care Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Atlanta, GA (FT/PT; Multiple Locations)

We are seeking a patient-focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a growing primary care team in the Atlanta, GA area. This role offers a collaborative clinical environment, a consistent schedule, and the opportunity to deliver high-quality, comprehensive care to a diverse patient population.

Schedule options

• Full-time: Three 12-hour shifts per week; every-other-weekend coverage required. Weekend availability is mandatory.
• Part-time: Minimum 20 hours per week with consistent availability. Options: two weekdays consistently (24 hours total) OR one weekday (12 hours) plus one weekend day (8 hours).

Compensation & benefits

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care: assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic conditions
• Perform physical exams and preventive health screenings
• Develop and manage patient treatment plans; order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program
• Active, unrestricted Georgia NP or PA license
• Current DEA registration or ability to obtain
• 1-2 years of primary care experience preferred; strong new graduates with relevant clinical training will be considered
