Medical Director / Attending Physician (Hospitalist) - Skilled Nursing Facilities, Manistique MI

Join a team caring for patients in skilled nursing facilities across Manistique, Michigan, where you'll provide attentive, patient-centered medical leadership and hands-on care. This full-time role pairs you with experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants so you can focus on clinical decision-making and oversee high-quality post-acute and long-term care without the administrative burden.

What to expect

• Serve local skilled nursing facilities with a predictable, flexible schedule - physicians generally cover each site 1-2 days per week.
• No set daily start/end times, no overnight shifts, and no on-call responsibilities.
• Typical patient load of 18-25 visits per day.
• Collaborative work environment that supports work-life balance and meaningful continuity of care.
• Company-provided iPad with LTE for streamlined documentation.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine.
• Strong communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills.
