Part-Time Medical Director / Attending Physician - Hospitalist (Bad Axe, MI)

Join a collaborative team providing high-quality care to post-acute and long-term care patients across skilled nursing facilities in Bad Axe, Michigan. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, clinical leadership, and partnership with experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to deliver patient-centered care and medical oversight within assigned facilities.

Position highlights:

• Part-time coverage of local skilled nursing facilities (typically 1-2 days per facility per week)
• No fixed start/end times, no call, and no overnight shifts
• Typical daily volume: 18-25 patient visits

Requirements:

• MD or DO with unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
• Strong communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills
