Medical Director / Attending Physician - Skilled Nursing (Hospitalist) - Grayling, MI

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Director/Attending Physician to provide high-quality care across skilled nursing facilities in Grayling, Michigan. This full-time role combines clinical practice with leadership and oversight, partnering with experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care to post-acute and long-term care residents. The position emphasizes collaboration, flexibility, and the opportunity to influence care models and outcomes in the facilities you serve.

Position highlights

• Full-time role serving local skilled nursing facilities
• Typical coverage: each facility 1-2 days per week
• Flexible scheduling with no fixed start/end times, no overnight shifts, and no on-call responsibilities
• Average caseload: 18-25 visits per day

Requirements

• MD or DO with an unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine
• Strong communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills
